The plugin will not activate without WooCommerce. Install and activate WooCommerce before continuing with this guide.

| WordPress | Self-hosted (wordpress.org) only | 5.8+ |
| WooCommerce Required | Must be installed and active before this plugin | 6.0+ |

Install the Plugin
Install directly from WordPress — no file download needed.
1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin
Log in to your WordPress admin and click Plugins in the left sidebar, then Add New Plugin.
2. Search and Install
In the search box type Jewelry Invoice Certificate Generator — find the plugin by Preciousuite and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate Plugin
Activate the plugin to enable settings screens.
- After activation a new Jewelry Invoice sub-menu appears under WooCommerce in your sidebar. This is where all plugin settings live.
Configure the Plugin
Set your store details, tax type, and certificate settings. This is a one-time setup — documents will use these details on every order from now on.
1.Open Jewelry Invoice settings
Access settings via the WooCommerce navigation path.
WordPress Admin›WooCommerce›Jewelry Invoice
2.Fill in Store & Certificate Settings
This is exactly what the settings page looks like — fill in all fields for your store.
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Store / Jeweler Name* | Printed on invoice header and certificate top | Raj Jewellers |
| Store Address | Appears on invoice footer | 123 Gold Market, Surat, Gujarat |
| Store Logo | Upload PNG or JPG — appears top-left on all documents | Your logo file |
| Tax Type* | GST (India) / VAT (EU/UK) / UAE VAT / No Tax | GST (India) |
| GSTIN* | Your GST registration number — required for India | 24AABCR1234A1Z5 |
| HSN Code | Product classification code for jewelry | 7113 (jewelry) / 7118 (coins) |
| Certificate Title | Heading shown on the purchase certificate document | Jewelry Purchase Certificate |
| Auto-generate on order | When “Completed” — documents generate the moment you mark an order complete | When order = Completed |
3.Click Save Settings
Your store details are now saved. Every document generated from this point will use these settings.
Add Jewelry Fields to Your Products
Each product needs jewelry-specific data so the certificate includes the correct hallmark, purity, weight, and stone details. Add these on each WooCommerce product page.
1.Open a product in WooCommerce
Find the product you want to edit.
WordPress Admin›Products›All Products›Edit [ product name ]
2.Find the Jewelry Certificate Details panel
Scroll down on the product edit page — below the standard WooCommerce product data tabs you will find a new panel added by the plugin.
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Metal Details | ||
| Metal Type | Gold / Silver / Platinum | Gold |
| Purity / Karat | Karat of the metal | 22K |
| Gross Weight (grams) | Total weight including stones and setting | 19.80 |
| Net Metal Weight (grams) | Weight of metal only after subtracting stones | 18.50 |
| Hallmark / BIS HUID | BIS hallmark number (India) or assay mark (UK/EU) | BIS2024KL7829 |
| Making Charges | Labour/making charge percentage or fixed amount | 12% |
| Gemstone Details (optional — only fill if the item has stones) | ||
| Stone Type | Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, etc. | Diamond |
| Stone Weight (carats) | Total carat weight of all stones in the piece | 0.42 |
| Colour | Diamond colour grade (for diamonds) | F |
| Clarity | Diamond clarity grade | VS1 |
| Certificate No. | GIA, IGI, AGS, or HRD certificate number | GIA 2195447895 |
| Cut | Diamond cut grade | Excellent |
Gemstone fields are completely optional. If your product has no stones, leave those fields blank — they simply won’t appear on the certificate.
3.Click Update Product
Save the product. These jewelry details will now appear on every invoice and certificate generated for orders containing this product.
Do this for every jewelry product
Repeat Step 3 for each product in your store. Products without jewelry fields will still get a standard invoice — they just won’t have the jewelry certificate panel with hallmark, purity and stone details.
How It Works When a Customer Orders
Once the plugin is configured and your products have jewelry fields, the entire process is fully automatic. Here is exactly what happens from order to document.
1.Customer places an order on your store
Customer browses, adds jewelry to cart, and checks out via WooCommerce as normal. No change to the shopping experience.
2.You mark the order as Completed
When you process and ship the order, change the order status to Completed in WooCommerce. This automatically triggers the PDF engine.
Download Documents
Documents are available in two places — your admin panel and your customer’s My Account page.
- Go to WooCommerce → Orders
- Go to WooCommerce → Orders
- Find the completed order
- Click Download Invoice to get the GST/VAT invoice PDF
- Click Download Certificate to get the jewelry purchase certificate PDF
- You can also open an individual order and find the download buttons inside the order detail page — useful when you need to re-send documents to a customer.
- Customer — from My Account → Orders
- Customer logs in to their WooCommerce account on your store
- Goes to My Account → Orders
- Clicks View on the relevant order
- Sees download buttons for Invoice and Certificate at the bottom of the order detail
- Customers can download their own documents at any time — no need to email them manually. This reduces your support workload significantly.
